Finish By Design is a custom wood furniture repair & refinishing shop with an added enthusiasm for upcycling old broken furniture into new home decor. Typical projects include re-gluing chairs, fixing cracked tables, sheet caning, veneer repair and many interesting finishes. I have developed relationships with several other craftsmen in the area to help coordinate complimentary skills sets like upholstery or lath work.

Some of my clients bring in samples or pictures or projects they want matched. Many types of name-brand finishing materials, designed for specific types of application, are applied with the end goal of durability. I enjoy the challenge of developing new techniques in faux finishing and have combined all the finishing, fixing and craftsmanship learned in my lifetime into one business: Finish By Design.
